Schurz,” one page, 5 x 8, embossed P&P letterhead, May 2, 1889. Letter to A. J. Curtin, in full: "Permit me to introduce to you my friend Dr. A. Jacobi of New York. He is one of the most prominent and successful medical men of that city and visits Europe for the purpose of studying hospitals and other medical institutions. You will find in him a gentleman of the highest order of education and ability. I would most warmly recommend him to your kind favors." In fine condition.
