ALS, one page, 4.25 x 7, personal letterhead, July 21, 1904. Letter to Mr. Goldschmidt, in part: "I have posted to you today your Guide Book of Japan. I am extremely obliged to you for so kindly sending it…It was quite invaluable. We hoped you arrived home safely and are pleased with all your many purchases. We have been in London a week or so and were very glad to be back again…Lady Trewes and my daughter join me in kind regards." In fine condition.
