The box has switches labeled "Retract" and "Extend Release," with indicator lights labeled, "Malfunction," "Captured," "Extending/Retracting," and "Extended." This test set was used to validate that the Command Module docking probe was able to retract and extend to enable spacecraft mating with the Lunar Module docking drogue. The test set likely saw application with every lunar flown CM prior to launch. In very good to fine condition.
