Description

The tragic young guitarist of Deep Purple

Bolin's personal passport, number F1103348, issued circa 1975. Passport measures 3.75 x 6, and contains his personal information on the inside of the front cover, with another hand adding his given name, "Mr. Richard Bolin." Affixed opposite the personal information page is Bolin's 3 x 3 passport snapshot, vertically signed on the left side, "Tommy Bolin." Balance of the pages bear visa stamps from around the world, dated between 1975 and 1976, including those from the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. In fine condition, with expected wear from use, wrinkling to photo, and adhesive remnants to back cover. Bolin was a member of Deep Purple for less than a year before the band broke up in July of 1976. Not long after releasing his second solo album, Private Eyes, Bolin died from a drug overdose at the age of twenty-five on December 4, 1976. Pre-certified REAL.
