Dual-signed manuscript DS, signed “James Wilson” and “Tho Mifflin,” one page on the reverse of a manuscript indenture, 27.5 x 24.25, dated March 22, 1792, and February 23, 1792. In the upper right of the document, Justice Wilson appoints Christian Huber as a member of a prosecution team, signed at the conclusion by Wilson; on the left side, Governor Mifflin appoints and commissions James Biddle as “President of the Court of Common Pleas of and for the city and County of Philadelphia,” signed under the eight-point seal by Mifflin. In very good to fine condition, with scattered moderate overall soiling. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
