Prince of Wales and first British monarch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Edward’s reign, from 1901 to 1910, was named the Edwardian era (1841–1910). Super early ink signature, “Albert Edward, August 26th 1857,” on an off-white slip affixed to a 6 x 9.5 sheet hand-embellished with a calligraphic title. In fine condition, with light staining from old adhesive on the reverse. An appealing example from the prince at just fifteen years old. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
