ALS signed “Albert Edward,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Marlborough House letterhead, March 27, 1872. In part: “By yr last note I am glad you can give us rather more favorable accounts of the dear General…I dread to think the loss he will be…I am going out hunting tomorrow but I will call in the afternoon.” In fine condition.
