Includes the award medal with black lacquered presentation case. Tightly rolled and in very good condition. Established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji, the Order of the Rising Sun is given to honor those who have made significant achievements in international relations, the promotion of Japanese culture, advancements in their field, development in welfare, or the preservation of the environment.
