Rudolph A. Marcus

Canadian-born chemist (born 1923) who received the 1992 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contributions to the theory of electron transfer reactions in chemical systems. Three items: a glossy 5 x 7 head-and-shoulders photo of Marcus, signed in blue ink, “Best wishes, Rudy Marcus”; a color postcard for the German city of Paderborn, 5.75 x 4, signed on the reverse in blue ink, “Best wishes, Rudy Marcus”; and a color 4 x 2.75 printed photo of the recipients, signed vertically along the right edge, “Rudy Marcus.” In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and letter of transmittal from Marcus’s secretary, dated February 24, 2005. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
