Austrian composer (1918–1996) known chiefly for his operas. AMQS on an off-white 8.25 x 5.75 sheet, signed and inscribed at the conclusion in fountain pen, and dated at Vienna, October 17, 1969. Einem pens five bars from his 1964 opera Der Zerrissene [Torn Apart]. Affixed to a same-size card. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold and wrinkling to corners from adhesive to reverse.
