Charles Goodyear

American inventor (1800–1860) whose development of the vulcanization process revolutionized the rubber industry. Bank check, 6.25 x 2.25, filled out in another hand and signed by Goodyear, “Chas. Goodyear,” payable to Margaret Wardell for $25, May 28, 1860. In fine condition, with expected cancellation cuts to the upper left. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
