Manuscript DS in German, signed “G,” one page, 5 x 5.75, no date but circa 1822. Goethe acknowledges receipt of a remittance. A note on the reverse in another hand indicates that the text was written by the numismatist and naturalist Friedrich Soret. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Accompanied by an issue of the ‘Weimarische Wochenblatt’ pamphlet dated February 9, 1816. A scarce and highly desirable example. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA.
