Grey’s manuscript for a short piece entitled “Death Valley.” In part: “The day is hot and the shade is pleasant…When I walk in the sun shine I feel the radiation of heat from the ground, as well as the direct rays from overhead. It is as if I were suddenly inclosed by a warm breath from a furnace. The light is brilliant, glaring, too strong for the gaze of man.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
