Collection of four original World War II posters from 1943 (one undated), ranging in size from 11 x 17 to 40 x 28.5. The first shows a worker on his lunch break and reads, “Food For Thought While You Eat Lunch…Every Accident Prevented means more Production For Victory”; the second illustrates step-by-step directions on “How To Shop With War Ration Book Two”; the third shows the profile of a young nurse in uniform, encouraging enlistment in the US Cadet Nurse Corps; and the fourth shows a sailor carrying a large pack over his shoulder and reads, “If you tell where he’s going…He may never get there!” The first three posters are in overall fine condition, with expected storage folds (with a few separations) and some old tape toning; the sailor poster is in very good condition, with several toned tape remnants; tears and creases along upper edge, with one corner missing, and larger separations to folds.
