Collection of four original color World War II posters 1943–1944, ranging in size from 11 x 17 to 20 x 28. The first shows an unassuming housewife and reads, “Wanted! For Murder / Her careless talk costs lives”; the second shows a girl with a war bond and a bucket of eggs, and reads, “EGGSactly what you need! / More War Bonds, The Best Next Eggs For You—Invest Regularly”; the third illustrates ways to conserve at-home services, such as “Electricity,” “Communications,” “Water,” and “Transportation”; and the fourth shows two factory workers walking toward the rising sun of 1944, urging workplace safety. In overall very good to fine condition, with expected storage folds (with some partial separations), toned tape to edges of two, and a missing corner to top edge of the war bond poster.
