Collection of four original World War II posters from 1943-1945, ranging in size from 18.5 x 26 to 22 x 28. The first shows a pair of pretty nurses and reads, “Be a Cadet Nurse, the girl with a future”; the second shows a man lounging in his living room with his dog at his feet, and urges citizens to avoid needless travel; the third shows a frying pan dripping grease into the center of several launched bombs and bullets, and reads, “Save waste fats for explosives…Take Them To Your Meat Dealer”; and the fourth shows a blood-red background and encourages citizens to “Learn First Aid & Home Nursing.” In overall fine condition, with expected storage folds (a couple partial separations), and toned strips of tape to the frying pan and travel posters.
