In part, “I am very much interested in reading your letter and also to know that after many years of illness you are now in a position satisfactory to yourself. I am also very interested in colored people, and have no doubt that you are doing good work for them.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope; and a bold ink signature, “Nathan Straus, Feb 7/1928,” on an off-white 3 x 2.25 card, with a small collector’s notation at the top.
