TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead, January 27, 1931. Letter to an admirer. In part: “I am pleased to send you my autograph for your collection and also book plate. The design is made up of the three roses of the Roosevelt crest and the fouled anchor of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy.” Roosevelt has added the word “roses” in his own hand, crossing out “phases.” In fine condition. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
