Whittier,” one page, 4.75 x 7.5, no date. Letter to a friend. In part: “I am at Gov. Claflin’s for a few days, and shall be pleased to see thee & Miss Willis if you can call on me.” In very good condition, with partial tape-repaired separation to one horizontal mailing fold, light scattered soiling, and two small toned tape remnants to left border.
