Flown printed fabric American flag, 5.5 x 4, flown aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia during its October–November 1995 mission. Flag is affixed to an 14 x 11 color certificate stating “This certificate is presented to Whitey Lansed in recognition of your contribution to the successful flight of the Second United States Microgravity Laboratory flown on board Columbia, STS-73.” Certificate also bears printed signatures of the shuttle’s crew.
