Bertrand Russell

British writer, philosopher, and mathematician (1872–1970) who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1950. Glossy 4.25 x 6 portrait by Harold White, depicting Russell seated in suit and tie, holding a pipe, signed in ballpoint in the blank lower margin. In fine condition, with faint toning and light silvering to image edges. Provenance: The Barry Hoffman Collection. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
