Original newspaper photo of Armstrong about to set foot on the moon on July 21, 1969, trimmed to a size of 8.75 x 12, taken from the front page of the July 21, 1969, “Moon Day” edition of the New York Post. Signed in black ballpoint, “Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11.” Photo has been professionally conserved, which includes having been de-acidified and then archivally dry-mounted to a slightly larger mount. In fine condition, with a light remnant of a central horizontal fold, and a mild shade of uniform toning.
