Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1730–1779). Partly-printed DS, signed “Geo. Ross,” one page, 8.25 x 13.25, May 9, 1771. Financial agreement between Ross and Henry Sheppele of Philadelphia for the sum of 1600 pounds, signed at the conclusion by Ross next to the paper seal. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (one through a single letter of signature), scattered toning, a couple small areas of paper loss along horizontal fold, and some small edge dings.
