TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute letterhead, November 13, 1912. Letter to Professor R. H. Vivian of Wellesley College. In part: “Mrs. Pcae and her little school enjoy a very satisfactory reputation. Mrs. Washington happens to be one of the trustees of the school but has not been able to make a trip there so as to be in a position to personally answer your questions. She suggests that it might be a satisfactory thing for you to send some one to Covington to secure the information you suggest.” In very good condition, with intersecting storage folds, scattered creases and toning, and some running of ink to typed portion of letter, not affecting legibility. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
