Napoleon keeps tabs on the Army of Italy

LS in French, signed “Napol,” one page, 7 x 8.75, March 22, 1806. Letter to Monsieur Mollieu in which he acknowledges the receipt of a report on expenses of the Army of Italy and questioning the existence of three pay offices for what is now one Army of Italy. Cloth matted and framed with an engraved portrait of Napoleon, to an overall asize of 19.25 x 15 In fine, clean, bright condition, with light bisecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a bit of trivial toning, and an ink notation to bottom. A clean and crisply penned example. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
