Oversize vintage sepia glossy 14 x 10.5 portrait signed and inscribed "For my friend Joe Auer from Franklin D. Roosevelt." This pre-presidential photo, circa 1920s by Blank & Stoller, Inc., shows FDR seated at his desk with pen in hand, looking at the camera. Mounted on a heavy board of the same size. In very good condition, with a heavy vertical crease passing through the end of the first name and affecting appearance, several other creases near corners, scuffing and wear to edges, and a lightly trimmed top edge.
