ALS in French signed “Lamartine,” one page, 5.25 x 8, no date. An untranslated letter to a gentleman. Lamartine has also penned a brief postscript on the reverse. In good condition, with intersecting folds (vertical fold just touching first letter of signature; partial separations with early tape repairs to reverse), scattered staining and toning, and a few marginal chips.
