Julius Wagner-Jauregg

Austrian physician (1857–1940) who won the 1927 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his discoveries related to the treatment of mental diseases by inducing a fever. ALS in German, signed “Wagner-Jauregg,” one page, 5.75 x 6.75, March 20, 1937. Wagner-Jauregg writes to his colleague Fritz Rössler in Bozen, noting that he is in Vienna and that Rössler’s patient is free to visit him any time. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
