Golfer (1902–1971) who, in 1930, became the only Grand Slam winner in the sport’s history, taking the U.S. and British Open and U.S. and British Amateur titles. Over the course of his career, he would win a total of four U.S. Open titles, five U.S. Amateur titles, and three British Open titles. Signed book: Golf is My Game. First edition, first printing. NY: Doubleday & Company, 1960. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6.25 x 9.5, 255 pages. Signed and inscribed in ballpoint on the front free end page, “For Bill Flanagan with best wishes, Robert T. Jones, Jr.” Toning and wear to jacket (tears and chips), faint toning along left edge of signed page (touching a few letters of inscription), and a few tiny stains to bottom edge of text block, otherwise fine condition.
