Golfer (1902–1971) who, in 1930, became the only Grand Slam winner in the sport’s history, taking the U.S. and British Open and U.S. and British Amateur titles. Over the course of his career, he would win a total of four U.S. Open titles, five U.S. Amateur titles, and three British Open titles. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Jones presenting an envelope to another gentleman at a banquet, signed and inscribed in fountain pen in middle-age, “For Mrs. James E. Grice, With best wishes, Bob Jones.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence. In fine condition, with a few trivial edge creases, and just a bit of minor contrast to signature.
