Early ALS, one page, 5.25 x 7.75, no date [early 1960s]. Harrison writes from “Some Hotel, England,” to Peter Murray, a program director at the BBC. In full: “We always listen to Saturday Clog, and on a Saturday morning soon, we would like to hear ‘I’ve Been Good to You’ by the ‘Miracles.’ Thank you kindly sir!, ‘The Beatles’ (a band), George—Paul—John—Ribble,” Harrison then signing “George Harrison.” Also included are both separated panels from a 1963 mailing envelope addressed by Harrison to a different recipient, BBC disc jockey “Big Bernie” Andrews, bearing a nonsense verse by Harrison (“Bernie, Bernie, Postman Go.... Brian Mathtube, Crimple Toe”) and the Beatles’ early “B” logo with insect antennae. All of the items have been affixed to a piece of mat board measuring 12.5 x 9 overall. In very good condition overall, with mounting as noted, light soiling to letter, and soiling, wrinkling, and tears to envelope panels. COA Roger Epperson/REAL and R&R COA.
