American soldier and statesman (1739–1812) who served as Governor of New York and vice president in the Jefferson and Madison administrations. Partially printed DS, signed “Geo. Clinton,” one page, 18.25 x 11.5, July 8, 1790. A document granting to Zacheus Kilbourn a parcel of land in Lysander Township, New York. The large wax pendant seal remains affixed at the bottom edge. In very good condition, with partial separations at folds and small holes at intersections, touching a few words of printed text, and a touch of mild soiling and wrinkling.
