Hale writes to Mrs. W. H. Kilby in Eastport, Maine. In full: “I am happy to comply with your kind request and only wish my autograph were better worth the trouble you have taken.” Faint mailing folds touching signature and slight trimming to left edge, well away from text, otherwise fine condition.
