One excerpt concerning the building of a water works reads, in part, “Two weeks ago I should hardly have thought it worth the trouble to entertain the…water works question, but now I would not have the slightest hesitation in actually commencing building. 4,000,000 in 24 hours demands an engine that can move nearly 2800 gallons a minute.” Expected mild toning and folds, a few pencil notations, otherwise fine condition.
