Wilson White House memos

Lot of two memos, each signed as president, “W. W.” One is on a 5.5 x 4 sheet, with “memorandum for the President: Shall this message be given to the press?” Wilson writes in pencil underneath, “Yes - please - with the attached reply - which…give to the State Dept. for transmission.” Second memo is on a 5.25 x 8 sheet of White House letterhead, which reads, in part, “Senator Ransdell telephones to ask if the President will be good enough to fix a time when the Louisiana delegation could see him.” Signed at the bottom in pencil, “W. W. OK,” with several other pencil notations in another hand. In very good condition, with toning to both pages, diagonal crease to small sheet as well as a few staple holes. R&R COA.
