TLS as president, one page, 6.75 x 9, White House letterhead, November 15, 1907. Personal letter to a citizen. In part, “I do not like to make another recommendation for a constitutional amendment in such a manner. My position is exactly as it was in 1906; but until there is a stronger feeling outside it is useless for me again to touch on the matter in my message.” Matted and framed with a color portrait of Roosevelt, to an overall size of 16 x 12. In fine condition, with a light shade of overall toning and signature a shade or two light. R&R COA.
