In part, “I…regret it will not be possible for me to attend the annual meeting of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People…I have made an engagement to speak before the National Geographic Society…and…attend a business meeting of the Red Cross. I have just been appointed Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of that organization.” Matted and framed with an image of Taft, to an overall size of 16.25 x 12.
