One of the great avant-garde jazz musicians, who died of liver cancer at the age of 41 in 1967. Ink signature, 'Thank you Best wishes, John Coltrane,' on an off-white 5.25 x 2.75 slip of heavy stock. Nicely double matted and framed with an image of Coltrane, to an overall size of 20 x 17. In fine condition, with small burn mark and tear to top edge and printed green line touching the top of a few letters of sentiment. RRAuction COA.
