Original program for a ‘Volunteers for Kennedy’ campaign fundraiser luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on May 29, 1968, two pages, 5.25 x 7, signed on the front cover in ballpoint, “Robert Kennedy.” The sponsors' list includes several notable names such as Shirley MacLaine, Marlo Thomas, Yvonne Brathwaite [Burke], Mrs. Gene Kelly, and Mrs. John Frankenheimer. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, a thin fold along the left side, and a small stain to the bottom. Of significant interest is the date of this event, which was held one week before Kennedy was shot by an assassin’s bullet at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. He died the next day.
