Royal Christmas card from 1935, with detached front cover, approximately measuring 13.25 x 8.5 side-by-side, the inside featuring a family portrait of the Duke and Duchess of York with their two young daughters, signed below the image in fountain pen, “Elizabeth” and “Albert,” who adds on the adjacent page (reverse of the front cover), “With best wishes for Christmas & 1935.” In very good to fine condition, with toning to the detached front cover. A highly desirable card given its informal signatures and early date.
