Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R,” one page, 13.5 x 9.25, April 4, 1805. King George III appoints William Terry as "Lieutenant to that Troop...in Our Royal Regiment of Horse Guards." Signed at the head by King George III, and countersigned at the conclusion by Home Secretary Robert Jenkinson, Lord Hawkesbury. The seals affixed to the left side remain intact. In fine condition, with overall wrinkling.
