Two scarce gold commemorative coins issued for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics, 19 mm (4 gm) and 25 mm (11 gm), both .900 fine gold, featuring identical embossed designs to the sides: the front features a group of torchbearers running above the coat of arms of Munich, and the reverse bears the Olympics rings, Munich Games logo, and text: “Spiele der XX. Olympiade, Munchen 1972.”
