Self-styled American Western entertainer (1869-1943) who toured the United States as a sharpshooter and, between showbiz stints, earned a medical degree. ALS signed “Richard Tanner,” one page on a 5.5 x 3.25 postcard, January 22, 1935. Handwritten letter to Virgil Russell in Casper, Wyoming, in full: "Your letter received. Major Gordon W. Lillie (Pawnee Bill) lives in Pawnee, Oklahoma." In fine condition, with scattered light stains.
