Two medals: a bronze volunteer participation medal issued for the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, 60 mm, 94 gm, with the front featuring the Olympic motto “Citius Altius Fortius,” with a raised depiction of the LA Coliseum above crossed laurel branches, and the reverse showing the official logo above Olympic rings with the text, “Los Angeles 1984, XXIII Olympiad”; and a bronze William May Garland Award medal, 76 mm, 183 gm, with one side featuring the portrait of Olympic organizer William May Garland, and the other showing the Coliseum, encircled by the legend: "Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games."
