TLS signed “W. McKinley,” one page, 5.25 x 8, personal letterhead, June 25, 1896. Letter to Parmely W. Herrick, in full: "You were a very good boy to remember Mamma, Mrs. McKinley and myself last Thursday evening. We all thought affectionately of the little boy in Cleveland when we received your telegram." In fine condition. McKinley had just been nominated for president at the 1896 Republican National Convention, held in Saint Louis, Missouri, from June 16 to June 18, 1896.
