(Tower Twelve, Inc., 1967) Impressive lot of four running animation sequences from the classic Tom and Jerry cartoon, Cannery Rodent, which contains a total of 58 original production cels and their original matching drawings (one missing), with all measuring 12.5 x 10.5. The sequences include: a large purple shark grinning with its pointy teeth (19 total: numbered 2 - 20, each stamped “7722 20,” with the drawing for the last cel not present); Tom lifting and throwing an anchor (25 total: numbered 2 - 26, each stamped “7722 21”); Jerry in profile after having come to an abrupt halt (6 total: numbered 7 - 12, each stamped “7722 29”); and Tom holding his nose and plunging into water (8 total; numbered T4 - T11, each stamped “7722 49”; the last two cels and drawings only depict the splash). Character images range in size from 1 x 1 (Jerry) to 6.25 x 4.25 (Tom with anchor). In overall fine condition, with a few stains, and some curling and wear to edges.
