Exceptional vintage circa 1963 official Beatles Fan Club promo card depicting Dezo Hoffmann's image of the group seated in their collarless suits, 5.5 x 4.25, signed beautifully in blue ballpoint, "Paul McCartney,” “John Lennon, xx,” "Love from, George Harrison, xxx,” and “Ringo Starr.” In fine condition, with slight unobtrusive creases touching each of their faces, visible only at an angle. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, who states: “These signatures were obtained in late January 1964 during The Beatles tour of Paris, France and just days before their historic first visit to the U.S. This card was signed for Melody Maker magazine writer Ray Coleman, who later went on to write biographies of John Lennon and Brian Epstein.” This classic shot is one of the most desirable images to have been autographed by The Beatles, with these highly coveted Fan Club cards having become quite scarce.
