Pay document listing the "Working parties &c of the 17th Reg't Employed in the sundry repairs carrying on in the district of Halifax Nova Scotia, under the direction of Major James Straton Royal Engineers, by Order of Lieutenant General His Royal Highness Prince Edward." Edward endorses the document at the conclusion, ordering the deputy paymaster general to pay £305.12.7. In very good condition, with several small edge chips, partial separation to a horizontal fold, and a rusty circular paperclip impression to the edge.
