The first handwritten letter, dated October 22, 1962, in full: "Will you please bind in linen the enclosed torn pamphlets in the order in which they now are. Please retain covers in their places. Arms blocked on both sides. Letter on back: Hagiographical works / Margaret Waugh." The second letter, dated November 31st, in part: "I should be most grateful if you could bind these two volumes for me in time for Christmas. Half levant morocco (blue) half cloth, top edge gilt, raised bands. Supply new end papers but retain original yellow papers (inscribed 'to Jack for …')." In overall fine condition, with light toning to the right edge of the October letter.
