Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R,” one page, 16 x 12, January 25, 1791. King George III appoints Robert Brissett "to be Captain, of an Independent Company of Foot." Signed at the head by King George III. The seal affixed to the upper left remains fully intact. In very good condition, with heavy staining affecting appearance.
